The process of healing and receiving reiki opens the heart chakra, and makes us want to create and be creative in our lives. It gives us the energy to enjoy being. Art and craft have became an active form of meditation for Annie and me, and a healing journey on every level, in a similar way that reiki has affecting our lives.
Reiki universal energy and positive intention is actively imbued before we begin to work. If we know whom we’re making for, then we use their name. If we do not know, we intend that the Reiki healing is just perfect for the person who receives it. And ask that it only hold Reiki and beautiful healing intentions within it.
With each object, bead, thread, stitch, crystal, touch and preparation, love and healing are sewn in, from our finger tips with every movement. The atmosphere and energy in the room is part of this process, and smoothing sounds or silence are important too, creating a moving meditation. In there practical application I’ve found these crafty accessories have added fun, joy and healing to my daily life, reminders throughout the day that I’m connected to source and my spiritual self. Hunab Ku the Galactic Butterfly Scarfs and Healing Wraps
This symbol is called the Galactic Butterfly which is said to represent all of the consciousness that has ever existed in this galaxy. This is all of our physical ancestors both human, animal, reptile, fish, shell fish, plants as well as the consciousness which organized all of the raw material from a whirling disk into stars then planets and solar systems. Big Meaning. So big that the original Maya had no symbol for this. In their civilization it was like having no name for God. Just knowing the concept was good enough. Later this pattern was devised by Toltec or Zapatec weavers as a pattern for blankets and this is where Jose Arguelles came across it. He called it Hunab Ku. The indigenous peoples call it “The Galactic Butterfly”. Butterflies are seen as ancestors returning for a visit to physicality. Wearing one of these symbols is very powerful as it broadcasts your reaching to actively join the consciousness of our galaxy.

Sleep Secrets
Hops and lavender are age old natural remedies to aid sleep. All the lavender is home grown. This bag is also imbued with reiki healing to aid relaxation and stress relief and for added energy has the Kunab Hu symbol on the top. Antahkarana Healing Wrap
The Antahkarana symbol is a cube shaped symbol. It’s used in Tibetan meditation practices and during reiki healing. Reiki energies and the Antahkarana will focus the earth energy blending them in the chakras. It’s purported to improve your healing skills, open the third eye, increase your clairvoyance, and any other number of wonderments. It has on its surface three “sevens”. These are thought to correspond to the 7 chakras, seven colors, seven tones on the musical scale.
Place the healing wrap over the person receiving healing or on the therapy bed. If seated then place the wrap around their shoulders. Use of this symbol adds an extra dimension and energy to any healing session. Use your reiki symbols as you usually would.
