My name is Annie McMahon. I currently work as a teacher for adults with a learning disability. Alongside this rewarding and fulfilling work I am trained to Level 3 as a counsellor. I practice crystal healing and am trained as a Reiki Master/ Practitioner/ Teacher.

I started working with crystals when I was about 16 and still at school, I used them for myself at the time and thought that they were truly beautiful. Later on I became interested in healing and have now given treatments for about seventeen years.

I gradually became more and more interested in Reiki and its affects on the human energy system. In 2006 I studied the Usui system of Reiki - First Degree with Veronica Friend, in Totnes. Since then I have learnt a great deal about Reiki through knowledge passed on from others, through reading the many excellent books on the market, but most of all through working on myself. What a wonderful way to start each day, to know that you have been healed by the universal energy that is within everything and surrounds us all.

There is nothing more humbling than to be able to enjoy this as well as share it with others.

I run regular First and Second Degree Reiki courses which are taught in small, friendly groups or 1:1 if requested.
All courses include a comprehensive colour manual and a certificate.

Continued support is given to all students after their training. In addition ‘Reiki News & Views’ newsletter is sent out every two months giving information and ideas about how others work with Reiki – it includes meditations, inspirational articles, poetry, art and all things Reiki.
